The company ‘THERMIS‘ is a historic company active in the manufacture and trade of Heating Systems, Solar Energy, and Natural Gas installations. The headquarters of our company are in Metamorfosi, Attica, and the warehouses are in Aspropyrgos, Attica.

The company THERMIS was founded in the early 1930s with its headquarters and factory in Rizoupoli, Athens, covering an area of about 6,500 m2. As a pioneering company, it was considered an big industrial manufacturer at a time when the term ‘manufacturer’ seemed distant.

The man who linked his name with ‘THERMIDA’ is Angelos Mazarakis. During the occupation of Greece by the Axis Powers, they prepared communal meals for the workers and, in the post-war period, the company’s trucks were used for Sunday outings for the staff.

With its foundry, the company manufactured cast iron boilers, stoves, heating bodies, etc. The company ‘THERMIS’ also manufactured metal furniture and collaborated with the country’s armed forces for the construction of metal huts and exercise shells.

The company’s evolution continued into the 1980s, producing the new cast iron boilers EUROPA & EUROMASTER.

The EUROPA & EUROMASTER boilers were further improved, and are still manufactured today by the successor company, A. Magnisalis – ‘THERMIS’, along with other types of boilers to cover both the domestic and international markets.
